Soon after the complaint, some residents heard a woman screaming, “Someone had fallen onto the ground!”

The incident happened around 9:30 PM yesterday (15 October), and the residents came to the scene and found a young man who had allegedly fallen from the window on the 6th floor of the apartment. He was sent to the hospital for treatment, but as of today (16 October), the man’s condition is unknown.

According to a report by China Press, Kampar district Police Chief, Superintendent Mohamad Nazri Daud, confirmed the matter, and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently investigating the matter.

The security guard on duty said he was not clear about the details of the incident. In a statement by Nazri, he said police received a report at around 9:15 PM last night that a man had fallen from the 6th floor of an apartment, and immediately sent personnel to the scene to investigate.

The incident occurred in a 16-story apartment building, and the man who fell was a local college student who rented a unit on the 6th floor of the apartment about a month ago and lived alone.

Police found a variety of newly purchased medicines in the victim’s room, and he was sent to Kampar Hospital for emergency treatment and is currently in critical condition.

“A witness said that after walking out of another block, he saw a Chinese man and a Chinese woman asking for help from the public on the ground floor, and later found the injured lying in the parking lot.”

“When the witness returned to the scene, the Chinese man and woman had left,” Nazri said, reported Oriental Daily.
