Not all heroes wear capes!

Recently, a Tex-Mexican food joint, Churitto’s Fresh Mex started an incredible initiative to give out free food to our hardworking frontliners in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). The food joint managed to serve over 180 medical frontliners at the hospital under their latest programme, Meal for a Meal.

Every set meal that’s purchased at the store will be channelled into the Meal for a Meal programme by Churitto’s Fresh Mex. So, you can enjoy your food with the knowledge that you’re paying for the meals of our brave frontliners and those in need at the same time!

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Churitto’s Fresh Mex said that the Meal for a Meal programme was not only initiated to help feed frontliners but also to help those in need and everyone who is affected during this critical time.

The programme marked its very first initiative to help the less fortunate during its opening in April 2021.

This is only the beginning of the Meal for a Meal programme since Churittos expressed their plans to conduct more initiatives possibly every month in the future.

Churittos told WOB that they will be working closely with the authorities to distribute more free meals to all frontliners in their planned checkpoints. This is to ensure that people are only travelling for essential reasons.

Earlier, the Tex-Mexican food joint gave away over 10,000 free meals to those who were vaccinated.

This is such a good initiative from Churitto’s team. We hope that the food joint’s kindness inspires you to be generous to those around you today!
