A woman in labour had the shock of her life as she felt something moving inside of her immediately after giving birth to twins via a C-section.
According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, the woman in Shanghai, China, had just given birth to twins, which she, her family and her doctor had expected, through a caesarean section. However, just as the doctor was about to sew her up, she felt something move inside of her and yelled, “Wait a minute!”.

Upon informing the medical personnel of the movement, the surgical suite fell silent and a nurse quickly examined her and also felt something.
“Oh my God, there really is fetal movement,” the nurse said.
The doctor quickly jumped into action and conducted further examinations, leading him to find a third baby in the woman’s uterus.

One of the medical personnel pointed out that previous ultrasounds did not show the presence of a third baby, to which the doctor deduced that “it may be that the fetus was in a special position and was blocked (from the view of the ultrasound).”.
In the end, the third child was brought into the world safely, leading the woman and her family to be surprised with 3 newborns instead of the expected 2!
