Over the years, Malaysia has been flooded with not only bubble tea outlets, but also tearooms that also specialise in flavoured teas.

Soon, people in the Klang Valley will get the opportunity to try another brand of tearoom known as Cha Huang Yue Se 茶皇悦色. If you have never heard of this brand, that is because they are only opening their very 1st outlet in Malaysia, specifically in Sri Petaling soon!

Some of the menus have also been revealed via their Facebook page, with most of them being fruit-flavoured teas.

What actually caught the attention of the netizens is not the opening of another tearoom, but on the branding itself. Apparently, the branding of Cha Huang Yue Se bears some resemblance to an existing brand of another tearoom, Bawang Chaji!

Is it the Chinese and alphabetical fonts? Or The characters? Or is it just pure coincidence?

Friend or foe?

Netizens are shocked and tickled by the uncanny resemblance between the 2 brands and some of them are confused if they are competitors, or related.

“Bawang Chaji’s competitor?”

According to Cha Huang Yue Se’s Facebook post, they have already planned to expand their outlets not only in the Klang Valley but also in Penang, Johore, Ipoh, and Malacca. As of now, they have yet to reveal more information about the opening date or business hours.
