It looks like there’s a perk of working in the media during a crucial time like this – unexpected free food!

While Malaysians patiently wait for the new government and a new Prime Minister, the media friends do their very best to be out in the field and keep us updated with the latest information. The media personnel who are “camped” outside Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s office today were lucky when the chairman of Pakatan Harapan came out from his office and gave them “good news”.

“The good news is, there’s lunch,” Anwar joked.

Anwar and his team distributed free lunchboxes to the media personnel, and apparently, they’re having Nasi Ayam Kunyit for lunch!

He also told the media personnel that it’s inconvenient for him to invite them to wait in the office as there is a lot of ongoing business in the building.

As of now, there are no words yet about Anwar’s next press conference, or if he’s headed to the National Palace anytime soon. The waiting game continues, so stay tuned for more updates!
