Malaysian social activist and Pertubuhan Jejak Jalanan leader Abbe Hae has shared another heartbreaking case involving a man allegedly neglected by his biological siblings, this time in Sarawak.
In his Facebook post, Abbe stated he was preparing to rescue the man, who had been living in the appalling conditions shown in the shared photo, but his efforts were cut short when he learned he was unable to reach the individual in time.

According to Abbe, after wrapping up several similar cases—including one involving an elderly man allegedly “locked up” in a Kelantan home—he was alerted to a 50-year-old man in Kampung Pangkalan Lutong, Miri, who was in desperate need of help.
“I was supposed to fly to Miri after finishing the cases involving Pak Mail and Pak Din to help another individual who had been treated [so poorly] by his own biological siblings. However, it was Allah’s will, as He loved this servant more,” he wrote.
Abbe shared that his rescue mission ended after learning that the man, who appeared severely emaciated in photos, had passed away.
He also noted that a major international NGO based in Taiwan with a branch in Miri had previously looked into the case, but their efforts were unsuccessful for undisclosed reasons.
“The deceased returned to his Creator yesterday afternoon at the age of 50. The incident happened in Kampung Pangkalan Lutong, Miri, Sarawak,” Abbe stated.
