Air Selangor says it has reported the incident to Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) and action will be taken to identify the source of river pollution at the Semenyih River.
In the latest update posted on their Facebook page this morning (5 October), Air Selangor announced that the treatment plant in Semenyih and Bukit Tampoi is not in operation yet as pollution is still detected in the river.
Affected households are advised to stock up their water supply from public sources and local service centers. The full list of available water sources can be found on Air Selangor’s website. Lorries with water tanks will prioritise critical premises first such as hospitals, dialysis centers and funerals.
