In a significant milestone for the growing chain, Mee Hiris China Muslim is proud to announce the grand opening of its 31st outlet at Sunway Putra Mall. The event, which coincides with Malaysia’s 67th Independence Day celebrations on 31st August, symbolises the brand’s deep-rooted commitment to Malaysia’s rich cultural tapestry.

The Grand Launching was graced by the presence of the esteemed Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Tengku Dato’ Dr Hishammuddin Zaizi, who commended the rapid growth of Mee Hiris China Muslim, stating, “I’m proud of how quickly Mee Hiris China Muslim has grown to 31 branches in just a few years. It’s great to see more Muslim friends getting the chance to enjoy the unique flavors of Chinese Muslim cuisine, knowing that everything is prepared in their central kitchen with strict Halal standards in place.”

Other distinguished guests included YM Tengku Normah Albarakbah, Royal Member of Terengganu; Mr. B. Wishnu Krisnamurthi, Minister Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy, Dr. Habibreza Arzani, Cultural Counsellor of the Iran Embassy, Dr. Kishva, Chairman of the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Hub and renowned anchor news announcer, Mr Gan Jiang Han.

Mee Hiris China Muslim, which began its journey in Senawang in 2019, has grown into a beloved brand known for its dedication to serving the finest Chinese Muslim cuisine in Malaysia. To celebrate Malaysia’s 67th Independence Day, Mee Hiris China Muslim announced the ‘Mee-rdeka Madness’ campaign, where customers can enjoy the second bowl of noodles for just RM6.70 until 16 September 2024!

This promotion is available at selected outlets and is meant to honour the nation’s journey and make the cuisine more accessible to all Malaysians. The highlight of their menu is the “Mee Hiris Soup with Braised Beef,” which features hand-pulled noodles made fresh daily, paired with a rich, savoury broth and topped with halal meats and locally sourced vegetables. This dish is designed to resonate with the diverse tastes of the Malaysian palate which explains why they have managed to sell over 1 million bowls of this signature menu to date!

 

A scenic celebration that evoked a patriotic spirit

In a creative collaboration, Mee Hiris China Muslim has partnered with Kuala Lumpur’s popular KL Hop On Hop Off double-decker bus to adorn it with eye-catching Mee Hiris China Muslim’s signature dishes. “We’re excited to bring the Mee Hiris experience directly to the streets of Malaysia,” says Mr. Elmy. “By partnering with Hop On Hop Off buses, we’re not just advertising our brand, we’re becoming part of the city’s landscape and tourist experience. This initiative allows us to showcase our commitment to innovation, not just in our cuisine, but also in how we connect with our customers.”

The event also featured a special performance by the legendary singer Man Bai, who celebrated Independence Day with the audience by performing his iconic songs “Kau Ilhamku” and “Setia” as the crowd waved the Jalur Gemilang, igniting a deep sense of patriotism among attendees.
