A resident in Taman Regency Park, Rawang had an anxious moment recently after their cat somehow found itself stuck to a sink at their home.

Unable to free the cat itself without potential injuries to the feline, the pet owner resorted to calling the Fire and Rescue Department for assistance.

In a statement by the Rawang Fire and Rescue Department, as reported by Kosmo!, the branch’s commander of operations Muhd. Mazuan said that they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 4.20pm yesterday (28 September).

A unit from the Rawang Fire and Rescue Department then rushed to the scene and found the cat having its leg stuck in the sink of the house’s toilet.

They then used a special tool to poke a hole in the sink and thankfully, the cat was safely removed from the confines of the sink.

Photos of the rescue, shared by the Fire and Rescue Department then made their way online and were shared by many social media users and pages, including this one by X user @pamellalah.
