The Kuala Lumpur High Court has found former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak guilty of all 25 charges against him related to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Specifically, Najib was found guilty on all 4 charges of abuse of power for using his position to obtain bribes amounting to RM2.3 billion from 1MDB funds, as well as 21 counts of money laundering involving 1MDB funds.

Harian Metro reported that for the 4 charges of abuse of power, Judge Datuk Collin Lawrence Sequerah made the decision after finding that the defence failed to raise any reasonable doubt against the prosecution’s case.

Meanwhile, in another report, Harian Metro stated that the former Prime Minister was also found guilty of all 21 counts of money laundering by Judge Datuk Collin Lawrence Sequerah.
