KFC isn’t just dropping a new flavour, they’re bringing a full Japanese-inspired taste experience to Malaysia. Here’s what makes it so irresistible:

• Japanese Yuzu: The star of the show. It delivers a bright, refreshing burst of citrus that is fresh, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Not too sour, not too sweet — just the right zing to keep you coming back for more.
• Japanese Sansho Pepper: The secret weapon. This isn’t your average pepper; the Sansho delivers a fragrant, peppery kick with a gentle tingle, pairing beautifully with the yuzu. This delicious combo adds a layer of umami, warmth, and a little surprise factor in every bite.

Put them together, and you’ve got a zesty and refreshingly unique flavour profile unlike anything Malaysians have tasted before from KFC. No wonder everyone keeps lining up for more!

2. Introducing the Japanese Yuzu Crunch & Burger!

Now that you’ve drooled over the ingredients, let’s get to the good part: the menu! Whether you’re Team Chicken or Team Burger, KFC has something for everyone with the Japanese Yuzu series. Here’s what’s waiting for you:

• KFC Japanese Yuzu Crunch

Each piece of the Japanese Yuzu Crunch is coated in zesty Yuzu and aromatic Sansho seasoning, soaking up all that peppery, citrusy goodness. It’s finished with a creamy drizzle of Japanese Yuzu mayo for an extra burst of refreshing flavour. You can enjoy it in either a 2-PC or 3-PC combo, complete with:

• 2-PC / 3-PC Japanese Yuzu Crunch
• 1 x Coleslaw (4oz)
• 1 x Whipped Potato (4oz)
• 1 x Carbonated Soft Drink (M)

It’s the perfect pick if you’re looking to switch up your usual KFC order with something a little more exciting.

• Japanese Yuzu Burger

Next up, the classic KFC burger, levelled up with a refreshing Japanese twist that Malaysians are salivating over. It features a juicy Zinger Fillet coated in tangy Yuzu and peppery Sansho, giving every bite a citrus lift with a subtle, tingly heat.

It is a Japanese-inspired flavour journey that is crunchy, aromatic, and packed with that irresistible umami kick Malaysians simply cannot get enough of.

Now, onto the choices! You can enjoy the Japanese Yuzu Burger in three ways: have it à la carte; go for the combo with fries and a drink; or, if you’re the type who always takes forever to decide what to eat, just grab the box meal, which comes with:

• 1 x Japanese Yuzu Burger
• 1-PC Japanese Yuzu Crunch
• 1 x Whipped Potato
• 1 x Carbonated Soft Drink (M)

3. Ready to try it? Better hurry!

The KFC Japanese Yuzu Crunch and Burger hits all the right notes for Malaysians who love exploring new flavours. Plus, it’s perfect for year-end gatherings, chill weekend plans, or just one of those “I deserve this” moments. And don’t be shocked if your non-Yuzu friends suddenly become fans too.

The Japanese Yuzu series is here for a limited time only, so head to your nearest KFC or grab it online through the KFC app on the Play Store or App Store before it’s gone!
