Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has been allowed to travel abroad for 6 weeks to visit family members, including her sick grandson, in Singapore. This comes after the Court of Appeal temporarily returned her passport which was withheld in connection with the criminal case she is facing.

According to Utusan, a panel of 3 judges led by Datuk Seri Kamaludin Md. Said allowed the passport to be temporarily returned to the wife of the former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, starting this Thursday (23 March) until May 5.

She was also ordered to return her international travel documents to the court on May 10.

Her lawyer, Datuk Jagjit Singh, had requested for the passport to be temporarily returned, to allow his client to visit her daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons, one of whom is currently unwell.

“Rosmah will go to Singapore on 23 March (Thursday) and return to the country on May 5. My client will spend time in the country for 6 weeks as it is the Aidilfitri holidays.”

“I understand that the prosecutor had no objection to the application being made and the passport is to be returned a week after my client returns from Singapore,” he said.

Do stay tuned for more updates.
