WATCH: Muhyiddin Supporters Show Up Outside of Courthouse Wearing ‘Abah Tabah’ Headbands

It was reported that yesterday (March 9), former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was allegedly arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) after he appeared to be interviewed to complete the final investigation process regarding the Jana Wibawa project and related issues.

According to the MACC, they had also received permission to prosecute from the Attorney General’s Office to charge Muhyiddin at the Kuala Lumpur Court today.

Following the news, it has been reported that outside the courthouse, several groups have gathered to show their support for the former prime minister.

According to reports, an estimated 100 supporters have showed up clad in white t-shirts that read “Kami Bersama Abah” and red headbands that read “#AbahTabah”.

Several former ministers were also spotted with the crowd as well as giving their support. These include Datuk Seri Rina Harun, Datuk Razali Idris, Datuk Seri Faizal Azumu and Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin who were among the Bersatu members present at the courthouse to offer their support to Muhyiddin.

Meanwhile, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters also chanted “Lawan Anwar Ibrahim, Tolak PH”.

The former prime minister is expected to face 6 charges involving 4 counts of abuse of power and 2 counts of money laundering at the Sessions Courts.
