Taking to social media, netizen @haiqalamn shared a video of a scuffle that took place in front of the police nearby Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur.

The back story of the incident was this: “The man who assaulted the old uncle was drunk in front of his store.”

“After downing a number of drinks, he refused payment and fighting ensued between the man and the store owner before police arrived at the scene.”

In the video, the man in black can be seen sitting down on the pavement, whilst the shop owner in white explained the situation to the police.

Apparently perturbed, the man in black went on to level the shop owner before the whole fight was stopped by the police.

The shop owner suffered minor injuries, but there were members of the public on hand to offer assistance.

Let’s hope that the police will get to the bottom of this a.s.a.p. For members of the public, let’s not speculate further on the matter or succumb to sharing racist taunts against the culprit as one man’s actions should not be considered a representation of his community as a whole.
