I wish you would step back from that ledge, my friend.

A poor dog found itself walking a very thin line as it was stuck on a ledge of a high rise building. But when help arrived, it could only lean against the wall of the ledge as it was too scared to move.

The Jabatan Bomba & Penyelamat Malaysia (Fire & Rescue Department of Malaysia) Facebook page took to their profile to share an adorable video of an Abang Bomba trying his level best to coax the dog towards him so that he could rescue it.

They wrote, “It’s not easy to coax, Abang Bomba also has to sweet talk it.”

In the video, the dog can be seen almost sticking to the wall of the ledge, out of utter fear. The Abang Bomba sitting next to the dog tried to coax it with something in his hand, perhaps food.

Though, the scared dog refused it by turning its head away every time.

If we were in it’s position, we might be a little too scared to eat too!

We genuinely hope that our fire and rescue personnel manages to help save the dog from its situation. And a huge kudos to them for their efforts!
