One of the most troublesome things that one can encounter is to lose personal documentations or personal belongings. The common procedure that one must go through is to make a police report and ensure that their personal belongings aren’t used inappropriately.

According to Polis Daerah Subang Jaya’s Facebook page, PDRM has set up a website that can assist Malaysians when making police reports. In their post, they’ve mentioned that the newly set up website can be used by the public for any reports that wouldn’t require any further investigations.

This E-reporting system is accessible to those who are 18 and above who have registered and have access to the internet. Based on the post, the system will be mainly used for:

  • Losing your IC
  • Losing your driving license
  • Losing your ATM or credit card
  • Losing your mobile phone
  • Losing your laptop
  • Losing your road tax
  • Domestic helper who ran away from home (only to speed up the process of cancelling their permit)
  • Losing of any personal documents due to natural disasters

This is such a great initiative as it would definitely help speed up the lengthy process when it comes to the loss of items.
