What is the MyKasih Capital Programme & how does it work?

If you don’t already know, the MyKasih Capital Assistance Programme is one of the additional government incentives announced by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, and launched in conjunction with the Women’s Day Celebration back on 8 March this year.

Through Budget 2022, a total of RM5 million is allocated for the implementation of the MyKasih Capital Programme to encourage women to generate income from home.

This incentive is a basic business capital assistance that will be provided in addition to a coaching program to promote online business.

It is given as an effort to encourage women to do business, especially those involved in e-commerce or dropship.

What’s the objective behind this programme?

According to the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Datuk Seri Rina Harun, the main objective of the programme is to empower the economy of women affected by the pandemic through business capital aid, thus helping to improve the living standards of those in need of financial assistance.

Here are some of the other objectives of the programme:

  • Empowering the economies of target groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through business capital assistance.
  • Help improve the living standards of those who need immediate financial assistance through financial allocation to start a business.
  • An approach that optimises the potential of individuals based on their skill areas so they won’t have to continue to rely entirely on government assistance.

Go forth and conquer the world ladies! We can do this!
