2. The Turkish Sharpshooter

The video of a 51-year-old Turkish sharpshooter Yusuf Dikec is sending netizens into a frenzy. According to NBC News, he showed up without specialised lenses, eye cover, or ear protection, yet somehow still clinched the silver medal.

3. Do you even lift, bro?

According to SI, The Ireland women’s rugby team stunned everyone when Emily Lane jumped to make a catch, supported by Erin King, who lifted her by the hips in a reverse style. 💪🏼🏈

Lane was nearly parallel to the ground when she reached up and secured the ball with both hands, even comparing them to NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s famous grab!

5. Chair stealer

A trainer is going viral for stealing a chair that was meant for injured fencer Nathalie Moellhausen, who was competing in the Olympics with a tumour on her coccyx that had been causing her pain.

According to Daily Mail, one of the trainers noticed the chair and sat down on it. Moments later, the organizer informed him that it was meant for Moelhausen. Realising his mistake, the trainer quickly stood up and helped Moelhausen take the seat. I guess we could say it was an honest mistake? 🪑🤷‍♂️

6. She’s snatched!

According to StyleCaster, Chinese swimmer Tang Qianting clinched her 2nd medal but has gone viral for another reason. 7. Paris Olympics fashion show

China’s Paris Olympics attire was undeniably cool. But let’s take a moment to appreciate how China approached their Olympic events as if they were strutting down a fashion show catwalk. But you have to admit, he’s definitely working it! 💁🏻‍♀️

8. Canadian swimmer vomits on live TV

Triathlete Tyler Mislawchuk was seen on live TV vomiting intensely after finishing his 1.5km swim in the Olympic event. It was initially thought that he vomited due to polluted water, but it was later clarified that this wasn’t the case.

According to Metro, Mislawchuk says he vomited 10 times after the men’s triathlon at the Paris Olympics because of the heat, not because of pollution in the River Seine.

Despite rumours of river pollution, it was still quite surprising to see this unfold live on TV! 🤮🤢

9. “We need his job!”

The real question is, why did the cameraman film this? An assistant was seen massaging a member of Japan’s team, which has netizens buzzing with envy, saying they want that job… and they didn’t mean the Olympian’s role if you catch our drift. 😏
