Noni’s sister, Iyan (29) said that her family was shocked after finding out about the news because it happened all of a sudden without any signs of problems in the relationship between her sister and Abah Sarna.

“I was shocked because there was no ‘wind and storm’, it suddenly became like this,” Iyan said.

“Our family has no problem with Abah Sarna. However, the problem came from Abah Sarna and his family who seemed to object to the marriage.”

Iyan then said that Abah Sarna’s actions had degradaed the dignity of her family. She also said that what happened made Noni depressed.

“After receiving the letter, my sister did not have appetite for a day. However, the situation is now better,” she said.

Meanwhile, Iyan denied allegations that the divorce happened because Noni was pregnant before marrying Abah Sarna.

“The allegation is not true at all and both parties need to meet to discuss this matter because otherwise, the problem will not be solved,” she said.

Previously, Abah Sarna and Noni’s marriage received a lot of attention on social media due to their wide age difference. A delivery sent by Abah Sarna to Noni also attracted attention as he had sent a motorcycle, a mattress and a closet to Noni on a truck during their wedding. Abah Sarna’s dowry reportedly amounted to 10 million rupiah (about RM2,841).
