Always be aware of your surroundings; that is what our parents always tell us when we go out late at night for a drink with friends, or maybe supper. It’s advice that we tend to take very lightly because we don’t think anything would happen to us, right? Well, that advice may make all the difference between life and death, in this tragic incident reported by Sin Chew Daily.

Occurring in Puchong in an open-air car park close to a popular local mall, a middle-aged woman was found dead after she was suspected to have been the victim of a robbery. According to preliminary investigations, there was an obvious loss of property, as her belongings were not found at the scene.

But most horrifically, the 50-year-old woman was found to have been stabbed in the neck and left to die by the robbers.

Her body was found next to a silver Toyota Camry, which is believed to have belonged to her. Given the circumstances, it is believed that she was on her way to collect her car when she was ambushed and killed. Police have also found a six-inch knife at the scene of the crime.

The body of the deceased has since been sent to Serdang Hospital for an autopsy, while police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to obtain more information.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and hope that those who are responsible for such a horrific crime be brought to justice.
