A local woman lost her life after she had been thrown from a flyover on the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) after losing control of her motorcycle.
According to a statement by the Petaling Jaya District Police, Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Ja’afar shared that the victim, a 30-year-old woman, is believed to have lost control of her motorcycle while riding through a curving road.


She then allegedly collided with a car that was in front of her before she was thrown from the flyover to the ground below. She was confirmed dead at the scene.
This case is currently being investigated under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
The police have also called for witnesses of the incident to step forward.

“To anyone who saw or was at the scene of the incident, please do head to the nearest police station or directly contact the traffic investigation officer, Inspector Muhammad Hisyam Bin Azih at 017-7378704 to assist with the investigation,” he added.
