An 11-year-old girl committed suicide on 26th November by jumping out of the 39th floor because she was too troubled by her parents’ quarrels.

According to China Press, the Vietnamese family lives in a high-end apartment in the western part of Hanoi. Both of the girl’s parents have high-paying jobs, but recently, they have started to quarrel a lot, which made the girl upset.

On Monday night (25th November), the girl’s parents started to quarrel again and there was shouting and slamming of doors. This made the girl cry for the whole night.

The next morning, the mother heard a loud thump, but she was still angry from quarrelling with her husband and had a headache, so she just looked at the clock at went back to sleep.

After waking up a few moments later, the mother called the girl for breakfast, but no one answered. The mother then went to the girl’s room and found that no one was in the room and the window was open.

At this time, noises from outside gradually reached the mother’s ears, so she looked out the window and saw the girl on the ground, lying in a pool of blood.

Wearing her school uniform, the girl lay motionless on the ground with blood all over her body. A pair of slippers and a family portrait was found left by the window of the girl’s room.

After seeing her daughter on the ground, the mother immediately ran down the stairs from the 39th floor as she could not wait for the elevator to come up. She reached her child and broke into tears.

The father arrived at the scene half an hour later after receiving the news. The couple embraced each other, crying over the loss of their child.

The girl’s body was then taken to the hospital where the doctors issued a death certificate.

Quarrelling with your spouse may be a common thing in households, but be sure to check that your child is not negatively affected by it.
