1. Cat Times, Sabah

Cat Times is one of the few operating cat lounges in Kota Kinabalu. Here you can pay to do your work surrounded by cats or just simply chill with them. The lounge is comfy and cozy, you’d want to stay for hours!

You can bring your own drinks if desired as the lounge’s drink menu is limited. Scroll till the end to find out their entrance fee.

2. Meow Meow Cat Café, Sarawak

This is Kuching’s first ever cat café! If you’re ever on a trip to this cat city then perhaps you’d want to have a look and experience the town’s very own hospitable kitties (this café homes 6 resident cats!).

Meow Meow Cat Café serves Western food to customers. The cats at this café have their own designated area to roam free where you’d have to take off your shoes and sanitize your hands before entering. This is to ensure a clean experience for you and the cats throughout your visit at the café.

Location: Sin Yen Garden, 93150 Kuching, Sarawak

Operating Hours: Open Daily, 11am-5pm.

Entrance Fee: RM10 per entry, no time limit!

3. Chucky Chappy Cafe & Pet Store, Johor

At Chucky Chappy Cafe & Pet Store, you get to relax with over 20 cats AND some other small animals. Of course you’d get the chance to stock up on any pet food you’ll need here too!

In addition to their adorable cats, you will have the chance to get up close and personal with guinea pigs, chameleons, geckos, and tortoises. This café menu serves a wide selection of Asian and Italian cuisine.

Location: NO 56A (FIRST FLOOR), Jalan Kenanga 29/5, Bandar Indahpura, 81000 Kulai, Johor

Operating Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 12:30pm-10pm. Friday to Sunday, 11:30am-10pm.

Closed every Thursdays.

4. C.A.T.S Fan Shop, Melaka

This beautiful cat café in Melaka brands itself as a cat haven and shrine. You just have to visit it to fully experience the concept the passionate cat owners envisioned. 

Their respect and love for cats prompted them to open this business and run services like selling cat accessories, cat grooming and cat boarding. We recommend ordering something sweet off their dessert menu!

With just RM5 you also can get the chance to give one of the furry friends a nice yummy treat.

5. Catopio Domination, Negeri Sembilan

This cat café located in Seremban has good reviews for being comfortable, clean and serve good food. The cats have plenty of space to chill in their own glass room where you can join in to greet them.

They also sell items for all your cats’ needs so you can shop as you sip on their classic café drinks and pet a cat while you’re at it!

Location: 36 Jln MPK 4, Kepayang Commerce Square, 70200 Seremban.

Operating Hours: Closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-6pm.

6. Monster. A Garden Cafe, KL

This café is the ideal place to spend a quiet, chill afternoon with it’s green, plant filled decoration accompanied by equally relaxed cats, just lazing about.

‘Monster. a garden’ is much loved for their aesthetically pleasing vibes, super cute cats AND their well made croffles! So be sure to order a decadent drink of choice with a croffle as you explore this quaint spot and it’s furry residents.

7. Mao CATfe, Selangor

Mao Catfe is relatively new to the cat café scene. It’s actually a cat-themed café that also doubles as a boutique that provides a wide range of premium designer cat accessories, treats as well as useful (and stylish!) cat necessities for cat lovers.

Everything about this café exudes class with it’s white, minimalist and clean interiors. They serve western food here as well as a wide selection of your go-to café drinks.

Operating Hours: Closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm – 9pm.

8. SnackCat Cafe, Perak 

This cute café located in Ipoh is loved by it’s neighbourhood residents. Interestingly, SnackCat café also offers buffets with cats as low as RM39.90 for adults on Fridays (it runs for 90 minutes).

On other days their menu serves the classic pasta and sandwich café dishes. They home many friendly cats, one is sure to come cuddle and be your friend!

9. Catonomy, Penang

This quaint new spot in Penang exudes culture! It’s a unique building for a cat café as it’s situated near temple grounds. Here, they serve delicious Japanese dishes worth every penny. Check out how cool the interior looks like below, with designated spaces for the cats to lounge in but some also enjoy roaming freely around the café.

10. Urban Pets Inn, Kedah

This is the first cat café in Alor Setar, Kedah! It also doubles as a pet grooming centre and cat hotel. They home plenty of friendly cats here.

Here they serve western café style dishes. We suggest ordering a light snack from their “sides” menu or any of their desserts if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
