If you’ve been on social media at all over the past year, you’ve probably noticed one fairy tale-based trend that’s taken over everything from fashion and makeup to food and lifestyle products. We’re talking about unicorns! Yes, fantastical, dreamy, beautiful unicorns in all their rainbow-filled glory.
Now the unicorn trend has scaled an all-time high and it has reached our shores in the form of…*cue drumroll* an ice cream! Not just any ice cream, either, as it’s a Cornetto Royale Unicornetto ice cream! Take a look at this beauty:

How then, does one convert the essence of a fairy tale creature into an ice cream? First of all, it’s encased within a brilliant holographic wrap. Once you open it, you’ll see a crown of Cotton Candy and Marshmallow ice cream on top, surrounding a cluster of tri-coloured chocolate-covered rice balls. Once you sink your teeth into it, there’s one more surprise in the form of tangy strawberry sauce within! Plus point? It’s super pretty and Insta-worthy of course!
You’d think that having this ice cream in your life is already the icing on top, but there’s more. That’s because from now until 28 April 2019, Cornetto is running a photo contest where all you have to do is snap a pretty picture of your Unicornetto ice cream, hashtag #MYUnicornetto and write a creative caption to go along with it! The amazing prize awaiting you at the end of the rainbow is an all-expense paid trip for 2 to the Unicorn Island in the Philippines. Yes, THIS Unicorn Island.

There are bi-weekly themes to base your photos on, so be sure to swing by Cornetto Malaysia’s official Facebook page for more information! Oh, by the way, if you have a sharp eye, there’s another phase in the contest that’s tailor-made for you. Cornetto has also paired up with GRAB Malaysia to spread the #unicornparty vibes. If you’re in the Klang Valley, watch out for any one of 50 GRAB cars decked out in a unicorn theme, take a picture, and upload it to your Instagram with the hashtags #MYUnicornetto and #GrabAUnicornetto, and you could win exclusive unicorn prizes!
