Woman Injured After Her Car Overturns Following A Collision With A PDRM Vehicle
A 25-year-old woman was injured after the car she was driving collided with a police patrol vehicle (MPV) at Jalan Kluang-Kota Tinggi yesterday (3 March).
Lau Lee Sin was left injured after her Perodua Axia had overturned following the collision.
As according to Sinar Harian, Kluang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Law Hang Seng said the two policemen who were inside the police MPV were not injured.
“Preliminary investigations at the scene found that the police car was from Kluang, heading towards Kota Tinggi to Kluang hospital, while the woman’s car was from the opposite direction. Upon arriving at the scene, the police MPV collided with the woman’s car while turning right at the junction to go to Taman Kampung Majid,” he said.
She has since been receiving treatment at the Hospital Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom (HEBHK).
They are currently looking into the real cause of the accident, which will be investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
