What’s a birthday without a little celebration? And what better way to celebrate than being surrounded by loved ones? This man sure knows how to do it right!

In a recent video shared by @saharuddinamirullah, he gives a heartwarming glimpse into his birthday celebration at a remote area in Sandakan, Sabah.

It was his 30th birthday!

In the video, Saharuddin is seen visiting a remote village, bringing cake, food, and essentials to share with the orphans in celebration of his birthday.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, he revealed that he and his team have visited the village multiple times before to donate necessities to those in need.

“We usually visit them to deliver food and necessities. And since it was my birthday that day, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with them. They’re already so used to seeing me.”

“They rarely get to eat cake”

Saharuddin mentioned that he and his team are part of Vitaminbae, representing the youth in Sandakan who are eager to change and better themselves. Their mission is to support those in need and recognise the unsung heroes in the community.

Prior to his birthday, he explained that the idea of celebrating with the orphans came about because they needed to deliver more necessities to them.

Coincidentally, it was his birthday that day (a few of his team members’ birthdays were also around the corner), which gave him the idea to celebrate with the orphans since they rarely get to eat cake.

“It was just a modest celebration given the circumstances. They don’t often get to eat chicken and cake, so why not do something different once in a while?”

“Humanising humanity”

Saharuddin noted that he tries to motivate himself and his team by bringing happiness to those in need, like these special children.

He also mentioned how it’s becoming increasingly challenging to do good as life gets tougher, and most people have to prioritise themselves and their families.

“We’re trying to humanise humanity. Life is becoming more demanding, and everyone would have to put themselves and their families first. But it actually starts with oneself.”

Saharuddin concluded the interview with a piece of advice saying,

“Opportunities for doing good are everywhere. When one presents itself, it’s often a chance to make a positive impact, not just for ourselves but also for those around us.”

Netizens were moved to tears and quickly flooded the comment section with their heartfelt reactions!

“People with a soft heart, come gather here please.”

“Their smiles are so heartwarming. I couldn’t watch until the end, it was incredibly touching. May everything be made easy for them in this world and the hereafter.”

“I saved this video so that whenever I feel like giving up in life, I can remind myself that there are people out there who are struggling even more.”

“Hopefully one day I’ll manage to do something like this to help those in need.”

We’re in tears after watching the video. Huge kudos to Saharuddin and his team for going above and beyond to bring smiles to those children’s faces!
