Don’t you think that driving on the road is similar to going through life in the sense that you meet all sorts of people that test your patience?
Well, this incident shared through a TikTok video is the perfect example of that.
Yesterday, Zul (@zulchay3840) shared on his TikTok account a video of two motorcyclists and a Toyota Hilux engaging in a verbal argument at a toll barrier gate.
It’s believed that the motorcyclists had refused to use the designated motor lane, hence they’re waiting on the driver of the Toyota Hilux to tap their card to open the toll barrier gate so that they can freeload on them.
However, throughout the 51-second video, the Toyota Hilux stood firm on their stance and refused to open the gate for the motorcyclists.
Rumour has it that the two parties are still at the toll gate…
Use the motor lane
In the video’s caption, Zul said that the motorcyclists should’ve just used the motor lane.
However, some motorcyclists in the comments section shared their thoughts claiming that it’s not that they don’t want to use the motor lanes, but there’re “roadblocks” there.
“For me, I only not use the motor lane at night. You know why lah,” said one netizen.
Alternative solutions
Besides that, a few netizens also shared their experiences with this problem and how they dealt with it.
“I’ll just tap my card and straightaway dash out. A big motor tried (to go through too) but the barrier gate hit his face or helmet. I just went about my way with a smile,” shared one netizen.
Another netizen shared that drivers can ask the motorcyclists to pay a fee of RM2 each to cover the toll payment before letting them go through.
“If it was me, I wouldn’t let them go through. I’ll ask them to get down from their motorcycles and just push it across below the barrier gate.”
