Taking to TikTok, this netizen shared what he found when he was at a restaurant digging through his rice and lamb meal.

While at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, this man took it upon himself to share how big of a maggot he came across in his dish and shared it on social media.

“Because of this meal, I had a bad case of food poisoning, which caused me five days of pain,” they stated.

“Imagine eating out and meeting up with maggots as healthy as these in your soup.”

He added, “The service was bad, the food was unhygienic and don’t get me started on the toilets and kitchen area.”

Netizens who have been to the restaurant expressed their disbelief.

“Seriously? This was my husband’s favourite restaurant because the Tom Yum is so good.”

“I’ve visited the restaurant twice, and the second time, the lamb was overcooked, and the sauce was too sweet,” said a user.

It’s a good thing this person did not unknowingly consume the whole meal. Let’s hope the restaurant will take this in stride and improve.
