Watch: M’sian Man Would Rather Slap Himself HARD Than Harm Wife During Argument

A video went viral a few days ago on social media, showing the rather odd scene of a couple arguing in the middle of the road. At first, it doesn’t look like much, but then something happens that caught netizens’ attention. While they were quarrelling and things are starting to get heated up, the man suddenly starts slapping his own face really hard.

In the close to five-minute-long video, the woman starts shouting at him but it is unclear what she said, as they continued arguing, and he slaps himself hard at intervals. The woman, believed to be his wife, seems to be asking him to calm down but he’s still rather worked up and continues slapping himself. The sounds of the slap can be heard really clearly and sound rather painful!

They continue circling each other while arguing and netizens who saw the video were rather puzzled as to why he was slapping himself. It looks like he got angry and instead of raising a hand against his wife to show his frustration, he would rather express it by slapping his own face, based on netizens comments.

Some of them said that he was rather silly to do that to himself but a lot of them praised him as he did not choose to beat his wife but rather took it out on himself instead. After slapping himself dozens of times, the argument seemingly ended, as he gets back on his motorcycle that was stopped by the roadside. We hope it’s not emotional abuse though!

Meanwhile, his wife comes back, and they have a relatively calm discussion, with no slapping involved. The argument has a happy ending though, as she gets on the motorcycle with him and they ride off, with their previous quarrel forgotten. Based on the background, the incident looks like it happened in Malaysia. The video has since been shared over 5,400 times.
