WATCH: Man at S’gor Football Match Unintentionally Snatches Away Jersey Meant For Young Fan

Have you ever said or done something that you thought was perfectly fine but ended up offending some people?

Unfortunately, these situations can occur from time to time and all we can do is try our best to amend it and apologise.

For example, this man at a football game who unintentionally snatched away a jersey that was meant to be for a young fan.

In a viral TikTok video by @amrlaswd7, a Selangor FC football player could be seen walking towards a fence while taking off his jersey.

He was about to pass his number 77 jersey to a young male fan when a man reached out and pulled the jersey out of his hands.

The man then immediately turned and left, leaving people in the crowd stunned.

According to the caption, the video was initially uploaded to seek netizens’ help in looking for the young fan. Aliff Haiqal, the footballer in the video wanted to give him a new jersey.

However, it turns out that the boy already got the jersey! It seems that the man who snatched the jersey was unaware of the boy’s presence.

“For everyone’s info, I was the one who snatched the jersey. I honestly was not aware of the boy’s presence,” he said in the comments section.

He added that after he took the jersey, his friend told him that it was actually meant for the kid.

“I immediately gave the jersey to the kid and tried to console him by saying that I was just playing around,” he explained.

“When a player takes off his jersey and wants to give it to his fans, you surely must feel eager to take it,” he added.

Luckily, this was just a misunderstanding and the incident concluded peacefully.
