Digital content creator, Sam Shaggy, took to his Facebook account to find the owner of a unique Barbie doll, specifically the Barbie Fashionistas Doll #189 which comes with a prosthetic leg, after he had found that it was left behind in a washroom in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.

He wrote, “Please help to share this! I’m collecting blessings this Chinese New Year. In the disabled and family toilets in Mid Valley Megamall, a Barbie doll with a prosthetic leg was found.”

“I believe the owner of the lost Barbie doll could be a little girl with physical disabilities because the Barbie has a prosthetic limb. This is a rare series (of Barbie dolls), which is meant to raise awareness for people with physical disabilities.”

The owner of the Barbie doll left their name written inside its prosthetic leg.

“A mark written by the little girl can be seen inside, which reads ‘Yun’,”

“I hope everyone can help share this so that the little girl can reunite with her Barbie doll before the end of Chinese New Year! Just like how everyone is having reunions with their families during the festivities,” he added.

Sam also explained that he has reached out to the mall’s management to coordinate with him should the owner approach them about the Barbie doll.

We genuinely hope that the Barbie doll is returned to its rightful owner.
