MISSING: M’sian Family & PDRM Are Searching for Woman Who Went Missing After Leaving Home in PJ

The police, as well as a concerned family, are seeking the public’s help in locating a 34-year-old woman, Yong Jia Yein, who left her home in Petaling Jaya on Wednesday (January 29) and has not been seen since.

The Petaling Jaya District Police took to their Facebook page to announce details regarding this case.

They wrote, “On January 31, 2025 (Friday), at 12:36am midnight, the Damansara Police Station received a missing persons case report after (the woman) left her house on January 29, 2025 (Wednesday).”

“The missing person was using a car with the registration number, BDV 1304, a blue Proton Iswara from the Pelangi Utama Condominium in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.”

 

Family members of the missing woman also took to social media to share further details that can help the general public to locate their loved one.

The missing woman’s sister, Yung Shin, revealed that she was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and long black pants when left her home.

 

Should you spot the missing woman or have any information regarding her whereabouts, you are encouraged to contact the police station nearest to you or the investigation officer, Inspector Hafizzul Bin Mohd Noor at 03-7722 2222.

Or, you can contact the missing woman’s sister, Yung Shin, at 014-700 9329.

We genuinely hope that the woman is returned to her family, safe and sound.
