When faced with a police convoy on the road, we need to give way and allow them to pass.

But, what is the one thing we shouldn’t do when faced with such convoys? Follow behind them, closely.

The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page recently shared dashboard camera footage of a car hitting the last police vehicle in a convoy, after the driver had followed closely behind them.

They wrote, “Looking for trouble.”

In the video, police officers on motorcycles can be seen appearing from the right and asking vehicles in traffic to move out of the way.

Soon after, the convoy could be seen passing through the space created for them.

However, as the last police MPV came into sight, a white car following closely behind it suddenly hit the police MPV, causing them to stop and multiple officers stepped out to confront the driver.

We genuinely hope that the driver learns their lesson and waits in traffic just like the rest of us.

You can check out the video here.

What would you have done if you were the driver of the car who hit the police vehicle? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
