You’d think that bullying would get left behind alongside exercise books and Pendidikan Jasmani shirts when people leave school, and that once you come out into the real world it doesn’t happen any more. Well, this is where you’re wrong because this can happen even in the gym! A fight broke out between a bigger guy and a smaller guy over a minor issue and a video of the incident went viral.

According to SCMP, the incident is believed to have happened in a gym in China and took place last month (April 2019). CCTV footage of the fight circulated on social media and had a surprise ending that showed the big bully being taken down by a smaller guy.
The scuffle happened when the smaller guy accidentally bumped into the bigger man, who is an instructor at the gym. The gym instructor, who was decked out in all his workout gear including a lifting belt, wrist straps, and gloves did not take kindly to the other man’s clumsiness and angrily confronted him.

The taller man started arguing with him even though the smaller guy just wanted to apologise and leave in peace. This is when the gym instructor got angry and slapped the other man with his left hand. Accepting the blows, the smaller man tried to walk away after that but the gym bully wasn’t finished with him.
Instead of letting the other person go, the bully grabbed the smaller man by the back of his neck and tried to hit him again. Frustrated and in self-defence, the smaller guy was forced to retaliate to get away from the bully, so he let loose with a brutal left hook that knocked out the gym instructor. For such a big guy, he sure went down easily!

Netizens on Chinese social media have supported the little guy and made fun of the bigger gym instructor. “You go to the gym to exercise but you’re useless. What a shame. The kung fu guy knows how to throw a punch all right,” one netizen said.
Some others also chimed in, saying that he shouldn’t have looked down on smaller-sized people. The bully may have thought he had the upper hand as he was bigger in size but he was easily knocked out with just one punch. Did he take the One Punch Man challenge?
