Not long ago, an accident involving eight kids on modified bikes known as Basikal Lajak was a solid reminder that open roads are NOT playgrounds for kids with the need for speed.

Since deaths no longer hold a place in the minds of parents and kids alike, in recent times, the rise of kids on these bikes has resurfaced on social media.

In this video, a group of kids on bikes are seen speeding down this busy road, riding recklessly, disregarding traffic signs, and moving vehicles.

Taking to the comments section, here are several choice comments from netizens.

“I sincerely hope that those who encounter these kids will do something about this. Report them to the police.”

“At the end of the day, drivers and other road users will be blamed should anything happen to these kids,” said a user.

We sincerely hope that parents will play a more active role in controlling their children. What are your thoughts on the matter?
