A recent viral video shows a married couple engaged in a heated argument at a local grocer, ST Rosyam Mart.

The man was seen tossing the groceries in the trolley onto the ground, and scolding his wife for buying too many things, presumably for the upcoming Raya Haji. The wife then told her husband that she doesn’t always get to shop.

Her partner continued hurling items to the ground before flipping the trolley over and spilling everything inside.

The public stood aside and watched it all unfold until some of them, including employees of ST Rosyam Mart, stepped in to intervene and calm the man down.

Was it a real fight or purely content?

In a TikTok video by a Malaysian content creator @edinkomeng, he revealed that the fighting couple are actors for the content, which was done for promotional purposes. The matter was also confirmed via a post by ST Rosyam Mart via its TikTok page, where the couple “met” with Rosyam Nor, Malaysian actor and founder of the grocer, on their way out.

The incident was said to have taken place in Sri Kembangan, Selangor, but the time and date of the incident were not disclosed.

In Edin’s video, a cameraman was also spotted filming the scene where Rosyam spoke to the “arguing” couple. Rosyam told the couple that Rosyam Mart offers one of the cheapest prices in Malaysia and guaranteed the man that his wallet was safe if she shopped there.

Rosyam added that the more they bought, the likelier they were to win prizes, which include cash, a gold bar, a car, and a pilgrimage package.
