Avengers: Endgame is all everyone is talking about right now and it makes sense because the hype on social media has been through the roof ever since the first trailers began to drop a few months ago! This movie is said to be the longest and the most emotional one, and even Chris Evans cried six times watching the movie! But is it really that emotional?
Well, that definitely seems to be case for this particular university student as she cried for three hours while watching Avengers: Endgame and had to be rushed to the hospital after the movie ended! This incident happened on 24 April in Zhejiang, China.
According to sn.people, the 21-year-old lady and her friends went for the first screening of the movie and she was deeply engrossed with the plot developments. While others were sobbing quietly, she was crying and breathing heavily after watching a certain scene which broke her heart. No spoilers har!
After exiting the cinema, she felt a sudden pain in her chest and struggled to breathe. Her limbs started feeling numb and displayed symptoms of spasms, including having her fists tightly clenched. Upon seeing that, her friends immediately called an ambulance and rushed her to the hospital.
The on-duty doctor who treated the patient said,
“I saw her gasping for air, and based on her friends’ description, we figured she must’ve cried too much which resulted in hyperventilation. We then immediately put on an oxygen mask for her and tried to calm her down so her symptoms would go away.”
She was cleared to go home the same night after the treatment. Judging from her reaction, she must be a die-hard Marvel fan who just couldn’t bear with the shocking plot twists in Avengers: Endgame. Is the movie really that emotional? Let us know what you think in the comments! Again, no spoilers!
