Two 5-year-old girls have thankfully been found safe today after going missing for approximately 24 hours in Kampung Pasir Pandak, Kuching, Sarawak.

The two children were reported missing at around 11 AM yesterday (6 December) after the father of one of the girls noticed that they were not at their play area.

Furthermore, the pair were last seen at 9 AM yesterday heading out to their grandmother’s house, some 50 metres away, to play with their cousin.

Kosmo! reported that the family searched for the girls in and around the village, but was unable to locate them.

They subsequently lodged a police report about their disappearance, and the authorities urgently conducted a search and rescue (SAR) operation to locate the missing children.
