2 People Who Were Changing A Flat Tyre Dies After Lorry Slams Into Them On Selangor Highway

Taking to Twitter, netizen @redzuanNewsMPB shared a video footage of a lorry slamming into a car parked in the emergency lane.

In his status, which writes: “Two people, including one Ministry of Health officer, died after a lorry slammed into their vehicle nearby Bukit Rotan, Selangor.”

Here is a video of the incident. Viewer discretion is advised.

The incident which took place circa 4pm, Friday, has led to the deaths of both individuals at the scene of the traffic collision.

It was understood that both were trying to change a flat tyre.

According to another driver who recorded the whole incident: “A lorry from Kuala Selangor attempted to avoid the vehicle that was parked in the emergency lane by swerving right.”

“Another vehicle that was already on the right-hand side caused the lorry to change direction once again, hitting both victims.”

According to the police, this incident will be investigated under Section 41 (1) Road Transportation ACT (APJ) 1987.
