Like making handcrafts? Or looking for a place to kill time on the weekends? Then this place might sound like heaven to you!

A new tufting studio called Tuftme has recently opened in Puchong, Selangor. According to the arts and crafts store, it provides detailed guidance on tufting, such as how to operate a tufting gun and tufting techniques, allowing customers to create their very own bespoke piece of rug.

The store offers all kinds of tufting workshops which are available for adults and those aged 10 and above. The price of the workshop varies depending on the hours and the size of the piece, the customizable rugs workshop is also relatively more expensive.

Dear all, We are open for booking! ?March Class(Almost fully booked)April Class (Open for booking) DM us to book ☺️

The 3-hour fixed design tufting workshop costs RM350, other than learning, you can get a 60x60cm rug on your own. The 5-hour custom rugs tufting workshop, however, is priced at RM450 to RM550, depending on the size of the rug.

According to the store, February classes are fully booked at the time of writing, but you can always message them on their Facebook or Instagram to book an appointment for the upcoming months.

The price may come off as quite pricey for some, thus if you are really into handcrafts, you can always opt for purchasing your own materials like tufting gun, fabric, yarns and glue alternatively. Nevertheless, if you have the budget and would love to experience learning and creating your own tufting rug in an aesthetically pleasing studio, I don’t see why not to visit the store!
