This Korean Convenience Store In Klang Valley Sells Authentic Street Food & It’s So Insta-Worthy!
Authentic street food AND IG worthy? BRB, we’re making our way there as we write this!
Ever since the pandemic started, travelling overseas has been restricted. Many of us who are stuck at home have binged-watched K-dramas to cope with our urge to travel but this only fueled the longing for authentic street food even more. Thankfully, there is a convenience store right here in Malaysia that can help you alleviate that longing before international borders reopen!
Introducing, Emart24! We stumbled across this convenience store when we saw a Twitter thread posted by a netizen named Firdaus. He is a photographer who is passionate about telling stories through his pictures.
In the thread, Firdaus said that the branch that he visited is in Bangsar South. As of now, there are only three branches of this convenience store and they are located in Kota Kemuning, Bangsar South and Desa Sri Hartamas.
Fun fact: There are more than 5,000 emarts in South Korea!
This particular branch has two floors where you can buy your favourite food items such as gimbap, sandwiches, tteokbokki, bingsu and even Korean cosmetics on the ground floor. On the top floor, you can sit and relax while enjoying your steaming bowl of tteokbokki and freshly brewed coffee.
You will also be able to find Korean snacks, instant noodles, ice cream and pastries! How cool is that?
All emart24 stores are open from 8am till 10pm. If you would like to know more, you can check out their Instagram and Facebook page.
When you’re outside, remember to always wear your mask and sanitise whenever possible.
