Malaysian singer Aisha Retno had no choice but to see her upcoming show cancelled due to low ticket sales.

The organiser, Kharisma Music International, announced the cancellation of her concert, Malam Sutera Aisha Retno, initially slated for November 16 in Zepp KL, via its Instagram post last night (November 8).

The organisers said they have no plan to reschedule the show.

“We apologise for the inconvenience, and this decision was not made lightly,” said the organiser’s statement.

It is understood that Tiket2u has already emailed all ticket buyers and will process refunds, which are expected to take 7 to 14 days.

Today (November 9), on her Instagram stories @aisharetno02, the singer shared the supportive words she had received from her fans, who also pointed out that the minimal marketing for her show could be the reason for the cancellation.

One of Aisha Retno’s most popular songs is Sutera, released in 2022, the year she won 3rd place in Big Stage 2022. In the same year, Aisha also achieved a milestone when she made it to the Billboard in New York Times Square.
