Times are tough, and many of us have to work 2 (sometimes 3) jobs to survive. The situation is no different for Mohd Khardanie Anwa, a Malaysian actor and singer who admitted that he is enjoying his second job as a side income.

Khardanie, better known as Danny X-Factor, works as a Grab driver in his free time and has no complaints about it.

“It’s fun, and it’s worth it. For my production work, my money runs out quickly once I get the pay, and I have to sit on the set every day. As an e-hailing driver, I get paid every day, which I use to pay my bills.”

Danny said he refused to ask for money from his wife, who also supports his part-time job as a Grab driver. Danny, who has been driving with Grab since 2017, added that he’s happier being a Grab driver than being on productions, reported Harian Metro and Kosmo.

So far, he is staying behind the wheel and has no plans to quit the job.

Danny also said that he noticed there are a lot of benefits in working as a Grab driver, so much so that he has been recommending the job to his friends, especially those who don’t have much luck in the entertainment industry.

“At least you don’t stay home doing nothing. It saddens me to see some of my friends not getting job offers.”

“I leave home as early as 4 AM”

As much as he enjoys driving others and making side money out of it, Danny said he doesn’t do so every day.

“I’ll only drive when my wife is abroad. She’s working as a cabin crew. I’ll leave home at 4 in the morning and come home before Maghrib prayers (7PM).”

Danny, who is more active behind the scenes in the filming industry today, said he will always find time to drive even when he is occupied with work.

To those who are e-hailing drivers, what do you think of this?
