The goal of Kuala Lumpur being more pedestrian friendly city has taken a step in the right direction with the newly opened Saloma Link which connects Kampung Baru and Jalan Ampang, reducing the walking time by almost 20 minutes.
As reported by NST, the 370m bridge starts nearby Kampung Baru LRT station and ends at Jalan Saloma which is situated next to Menara Public Bank, just a stone’s throw away from KLCC. A huge part of the bridge cuts across the Ampang-KL Elevated Highway (AKLEH).
Ok let’s focus on the most important thing about the bridge; the beauty of it. Inspired by the “sirih junjung” design, the bridge is illuminated by LED lights and this combo will definitely make the bridge the latest instagrammable spot in town.
So when are you going to drop by the Saloma Link? Not only does it look good, but it is also very convenient!
