The video begins by Jinny explaining her weight gain and the reason she decided to lose those extra pounds.

She said, “My only joy in my senior year of high school was eating the delivery of chicken every Friday night.”

Within a year, she gained 25kg due to her habit of eating unhealthy foods and drinking beer.

Jinny decided to break away from these bad habits when she was diagnosed with a herniated disc and wanted to be healthier.

She only made simple changes to her diet such as making sure that she drinks 3-5 liters of warm water daily, cutting off food that contains sodium, eating protein and vegetables for lunch, consuming yoghurt to aid with digestion and only indulging in one dessert a day. She also stopped having late night snacks.

Jinny ends the videos by advising viewers, “Diet is the change in how you love yourself. I workout for health and eat good food for my body and try to love myself constantly. Set up a goal of ‘Let’s love myself in healthy way’ rather than a goal like ‘Lose 5kg every month!

Okay guys, perhaps it’s time to stop munching so much on those nasi lemak and rendang!
