All workers that have come in close contact with the infected employee have underwent temperature scans and self-quarantine for 14 days as implemented by the Health Ministry.

“The affected area has been sanitised. We have also taken additional measures like providing hand sanitisers at public places inside the SIRIM building and at all the offices,” SIRIM said in a statement.

“All visitors are required to go through a temperature scan at every entrance. The building has to be kept clean, and visitors should steer clear of crowded and public places everyday. We will continue to beware of the Covid-19 threat and take necessary steps to ensure the safety of our workers, customers and shareholders.”
