Taking place near Jalan Samsu, between Kota Tinggi and Mersing, Johor, road users came to the help of this woman who almost drowned when her car crashed into a nearby gutter.

In a 14-second video, two men can be seen approaching the gutter, and the other jumped into it, saving the victim who was holding on for dear life.

Crying for help, the woman was clinging onto her Myvi before the man helped her onto a ledge.

As the video ended at the 14-second mark, netizens commenting on the tweet wondered and theorised as to how the vehicle could have ended up in the gutter to begin with.

“Sometimes people are unaware just how dangerous the rainy season could be.”

“She is lucky that during the crash, someone was there to help out,” said a user.
