A viral video has been circulating on social media recently, showing the aftermath of a car crash at a parking lot in Puncak Alam, Selangor.

In the video, a black Honda Accord can be seen having caused considerable damage to several vehicles parked at a shop lot’s parking area after crashing into them. Furthermore, several men can be seen checking out the damaged cars while the person recording pans the camera over the whole area.

The video was shared online by user @druglordfxdl on X (formerly known as Twitter), and posted it with this accompanying caption,

“Is it the current trend to test a customer’s car until getting into an accident? Hopefully, the owner’s affairs can be simplified ?”

Furthermore, the X user also asserted that the incident took place near the 3rd entrance of UiTM Puncak Alam. However, he didn’t reveal when the incident happened.

Based on the caption, it is believed that a workshop worker took the Honda Accord which belonged to a customer for a joyride to ‘test’ the car’s capabilities but ended up crashing into the vehicles parked in the area.

It is unknown whether the culprit was one of the men seen in the video. Regardless, it looks like the individual who drove the Honda Accord would have to bear the costs to repair all of the damaged vehicles, including the Honda Accord itself, should they be found to be responsible for the crash.

Malaysians criticise the workshop worker’s alleged irresponsible action

In the replies to the X post, many commenters call out the workshop worker for their alleged irresponsible action of taking the customer’s car for a joyride.

One commenter sarcastically asked the perpetrator who taught them to test a car at a parking lot and said that they should’ve tested the car on an empty road instead.

Meanwhile, another commenter said that the workshop should give a new car to the customer as after the crash, the Honda Accord won’t behave or ‘feel’ the same.

Besides that, one commenter said he recognised the area in which the incident took place, which is at Bandar Hillpark.
