“My daughter usually comes home from school circa 6:35pm but since her grandfather forgot to pick her up from school, she waited until 7:10pm before making the decision to walk home.”

“On her way home, a white van with three men stopped her and offered her a lollipop, forcing her to take it.”

“They forcefully grabbed her shoulder forcing her to take the lollipop. She ran as hard as she could, away from her would-be kidnappers”

“She did manage to look back, and found out that the men did not pursue her.”

“According to the police, if the van was not parked at the opposite end of the road, she would have been taken on the spot.”

“When asked as to why they could not pick her up from school, she shared that her husband went looking for her when their daughter did not come home in time.”

“When her husband found her halfway from school, she said that her stomach ached from running too fast.”

“We’ve definitely learnt our lesson. We were lucky that our daughter is still safe with us.”

Sharing a video of them making a police report together with their daughter, Azie mentioned that since the case was too big, they were ordered to make a report at the police headquarters instead.

Let’s take extra care of our kids, OK people?
