Most of us have been to Delicious. The restaurant is known for their cosy atmosphere and of course, its Tiffany blue colour!
After almost 20 years serving us, it’s with sadness now the brand is closing its doors for good.
In a statement by Delicious Group shared on their Facebook, they’ve announced a cease in the operations due to the challenging times.
Apparently, this decision was made even before the Movement Control Period (MCO). However, they remained opened while their staff could look for another job and serve customers a little while longer.
They wrote,
“Earlier this year, before the Movement Control Period (“MCO”), the Delicious Group management had decided to cease operations and close all its Delicious Restaurants. In this ever challenging and difficult business environment, we thought that this was the most prudent and best course of action.
“However, in the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and MCO introduced by our government, Delicious decided to remain open and delay our closure to allow our customers to enjoy their Delicious favorites for just a while longer while supporting our staff members who may have needed their jobs more than ever during this challenging period.
“Now however, it is time for us to say our reluctant goodbyes to all of you. After almost 2 decades of being in the market and serving you, it is time for us to close our doors for good.”
They ended their post saying their goodbyes and thanking their patrons for the support.
“On this sad note we wish to convey our sincere gratitude and thanks to all of you, our guests and customers, for supporting us throughout the years and for all the memories that we have created together. Know that every dish we served and everything we did, it was all for you.
“Thank you and GOODBYE.”
Another brand down. We’ll definitely miss this place!
